Ramona R. Hrysikos, FNP-BC

Ramona Hrysikos has lived in Spartanburg for more than 35 years and has devoted her career to compassionate, patient-centered healthcare. She earned her nursing degree from USC Upstate’s Mary Black School of Nursing in 1996 and later completed a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner, achieving dual board certification through AANP and AANC. She also holds a Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education and is board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM).

Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Ramona worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse, Endoscopy nurse, and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist for more than 12 years at Mary Black Hospital. She went on to serve as an Inpatient Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with Spartanburg Regional Health System and has additional experience in urology as an NP healthcare provider.

Ramona’s professional passion centers on diabetes care, management, and women’s health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three children, growing in her faith, connecting with family and friends, and giving back to her community through charitable events and causes close to her heart.
