Eric Cole, MD

Dr. Cole joined Family Physicians of Spartanburg in 2022. Prior to this he served the Spartanburg community for more than 15 years at the Family Medical Center. Dr. Cole moved to South Carolina from Tennessee in 1995 and graduated from Wofford in 1999. He then received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2003 and then continued his training in Greenwood, SC. Dr. Cole then returned to Spartanburg with his family in 2006.

Dr. Cole serves children through geriatrics and enjoys preventative medicine, managing cardiovascular disorders such as hypertension, and metabolic disorders such as diabetes and high cholesterol. He also spends time serving as team physician for his alma mater, Wofford College.

Dr. Cole is passionate about a team based approach to serving others in the name of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He enjoys Bible study and fellowship, reading, and spending quality time with his wife and children.
